An Overview:
The Beatles: Hunter Davies is the only authorized biographer of "The Beatles", one of the greatest pop bands in music history.

Davies gives us an in depth look at the behind the scenes life of the Beatles. Published as a second revised edition in 1996 with newly added information, it is yet another must have audiobook for the serious Beatles fan.

Not only did Davies have full access to the band, he was also given full approval and encouragement by the band members themselves. Having spent 18 months with them while they were at their peak, he was also there to see them rise from the early days, right through to the day the Beatles, the worlds greatest pop band ever, finally came to an end.

Davies remained with the Beatles right through the time of there break-up, continuing his friendship with all the individual members and writing about them as they embarked on their individual solo careers. Davies has authored many books during his career but none have generated quite as much interest as his biography of the Beatles.
