115mm tall by 61mm wide by 12mm deep
Display:
Like the iPod, the iPhone is an ideal audio book player in addition to its multitude of other capabilities. The iPhone is truly elegant sporting a 480×320 pixel resolution touch screen display (89mm or 3.5”) and with its slim and clean lines. The display is sharp and the graphics and colours brilliant.
Menus:
The menu system and general interface is very intuitive and very easy to use. Various functions are represented by coloured icons making navigating simple. In addition to the icons, some of the other functions are listed at the top and bottom of the screen.
Touch screen:
Functions for the screen are activated by tapping with the finger, no stylus is required and the menus are scrolled by brushing a finger across the screen. The phone built in motion sensor adapts the screens orientation automatically as the phone is moved onto its side.
External features:
There is an external button located under the touch screen; it functions as a home screen regardless of where you are in the menu system, a very handy feature indeed making the menu very efficient and fast by eliminating a number of back steps when wishing to exit.
