Has anyone read any of these? I think I remember somebody saying they'd read Parrot and Olivier...

i really need to expand my reading as i haven't heard of any of the authors never mind the books on the list,makes me feel slightly ignorant.reading the synopsis for some of the books they sound like i would enjoy some of them too.

I wonder what the criteria is to make the list, I havent of them either?

Criteria: Any full-length novel, written by a citizen of the Commonwealth or the Republic of Ireland and published in the United Kingdom for the first time in the year of the prize. The novel must be an original work in English (not a translation) and must not be self-published.
