Default what are you reading/listening to at the moment

i've just finished 'moving pictures' by terry pratchett and i've just started 'dauntless' by jack campbell.i really like the discworld books by pratchett and his play on words with the english language is a big part of why i like these books so much, this one is about the film industry in holy wood and,as usual,it all goes completely pear shaped - in a funny way.dauntless is the first book in campbell's lost fleet series and i'm enjoying it at the moment,i've been looking for a good sci-fi series for a while and this seems to fit the bill nicely.
so what are you lot listening to?i've had some great suggestions for new books in my short time on this forum so i guess this is another way for me to get even more

I'm reading Bite Me. Saw it listed on Dorothy's summer reading list.

Reading Hypothermia by Arnaldur Indridason Icelandic crime novel, latest in a series. I've read most of them and they are great.

Listening to Devil's Peak by Deon Meyer. Really really good.

I recently started The Passage. I am less than excited about it. I hope it improves. I seem to remember someone saying it had a slow start but then took off.

Micky, Mr Reichlin has recorded a couple of Indridason novels but unfortunately they are in cassette and CD format so very very expensive. However, if your library has them then all is good.

Here is a link to some of the books Saul R has read. http://www.wfhowes.co.uk/catalogue/narrators.php?&n=198.

It is part of a series. It started with Bloodsucking Fiends, then You Suck, and Bite Me. I'm laughing out loud as I read it.

i started listening to 'you suck' but i quickly realised that i was supposed to know what was going on with the characters so i decided to stop and wait until i had the other books so i could listen to them in order.i agree that moore is very funny though

well i finally got back on track with my listening after my little disaster (thanks mem).finished dauntless, thought it was ok but must admit that some of the science lost me a few times.i'll probably go back for another go with the next book in the series but i'm not desperate,i just fancied some sci-fi for a change.also finished heart shaped box by joe hill,a very good horror story that i really enjoyed.
next up for me is the quiche of death by m.c beaton,an author i've not heard of before but i'm going to give it a go.sounds like a funny whodunnit set in a small english village and there are quite a few in the series featuring her heroine agatha raisin, could be promising

I've moved away from narrations by Mr Reichlin (you'll all be glad to hear) and moved on to a book called Fatal Last Words by Quintin Jardine, read by James Bryce, nice voice with a slight Scottish accent which is appropriate as the book is set in Scotland. Not got very far yet but it appears to be a classic detective story.

I have ordered up some books from the library, but the next on my list will be the latest Jeffrey Deaver The Burning Wire and that's because he's doing a signing in Birmingham this week and I'm hoping to get there (work permitting) to get a signed audiobook. I can't really afford it but I can't let a chance to meet Mr Deaver go.
