An Overview:
When it comes to your day to day job, you may think everything is always status quo, but have you ever really considered the worst things that could happen on the job? This is just what The Worst-Case Scenario Survival Handbook: Work looks into.

Main Body:
The Worst-Case Scenario Survival Handbook: Work really delves into how when things go wrong they can really go wrong at work. For example, if you work somewhere that there are large, walk in freezers, have you ever considered what you would do if you were accidentially locked inside one of them? How do you keep yourself from becoming just another piece of frozen meat? Or how about one that we all can relate to – somehow getting locked in a bathroom and needing to be rescued.

This book is filled with often downright funny while simultaneously interesting tidbits about things that could go wrong while at work and how to deal with them. I mean, thankfully my job doesn’t have me working around a lion’s cage, but just in case I ever find myself stuck in one, I now have more insight into how to get out of there safely.

It’s not all absurd items that are a part of this book. There are also some that are more likely to happen to all of us, like being caught slacking at work, and how to get out of those situations without ending up out of a job!  Overall this book is an enjoyable read. If you are really looking for some sort of ‘workplace safety’ book, this is not the one for you.

These books are meant to be as entertaining as they are informative and many of the scenarios in these books are ones you will never have any reason to encounter, but that doesn’t make them less interesting to listen about.

The Narration:
The narrator for this book is Jeff Woodman. His voice is a pretty common reading voice, but is nice enough to listen to. He has the kind of voice you would not be surprised to hear giving you a ‘behind the scenes look’ at how to get through some bizarre or troublesome situations.
