Royal Historical Fiction:

Philippa Gregroy is best known for her vivid tales involving Anne Boleyn and her sister Mary. In her latest outing, The White Queen (read by Bianca Amato), Gregory introduces a new series highlighting the Plantagenets – a time referred to as the War of the Roses. Fans of British historical fiction will certainly be pleased with Gregory’s latest.

Simply Thrilling:

Bestselling author Terry Goodkind offers The Law of Nines (read by Mark Deacons), a downright scary thriller. Goodkind’s previous works were of the fantasy genre and this departure seems poised to pull in a new group of readers. Alex is a 27-year-old struggling artist, son of woman who was insane by the time she reached 27, who finds himself the target of horrific violence.

Joseph Finder’s new book, Vanished (read by Holter Graham), introduces Nick Heller, a corporate intelligence specialist and ex-Special Forces agent. Previously Finder’s novels were stand-alone but this offering will be the beginning of a new series. The debut features Heller as he works to protect his nephew from disturbing threats.

Fantasizing:

Terry Brooks has released the latest in the Magic Kingdom of Landover Series (#6) with Princess of Landover, narrated by Dick Hill. Fans of the series have waited fourteen years for Brooks to return to Landover. Their welcome back includes a dragon, gnomes, a magic cat and an ominous sorcerer.

Romantic Entanglements:

Debbie Macomber takes romance readers to the Cowboy State in Wyoming Brides (read by Tanya Eby). Two ranchers, Chase Brown and Lonny Ellison, are looking for love… and knowing bestselling author Macomber, they will find it.

Running Man:

Runners will enjoy listening to Once a Runner by John L. Parker (read by Patrick Girard Lawlor).  Parker has written for many running periodicals. In this inspiring fictional account, he tells the story of a young man journey to become a champion runner.
